Comments by readers are always welcome but any advertising posted to my blog comments will be immediately withdrawn ---------------------------- I am a 34 year old male, with a wife and 2 year old daughter, whose life has been disrupted by major depression for the last five years. In the last 18-24 months I have suffered my second and severest episode of depression. In that time I have lost my career and a normal life. Since the recurrence of my depression I have been determined to fight it. I am using the knowledge I have gained from my first episode and from the ongoing challenges being faced in this one. In the last 12 months I have strategically, but informally, built a team of support (family, friends, and trained professionals) around me that is helping my family and I. This is a key, if not to recovery, to coping in the midst of major depression.
